My name is "Keith Brown." I began this venture in 2006 at a local bar called "Sam's Place."
By just having a love of karaoke, plus a musical background, the owner of the bar presented me with a compensation offer I could not refuse. Therefore, I established "Kandeya Productions" and began as the karaoke host.
After accepting the opportunity, I did not want to be just another unmemorable karaoke host. I wanted more energy, more entertainment, a show that will be remembered and talked about the next day, and the day after that. It was then i decided to have a "Karaoke Show" with as much entertainment, dancing, and hi-energy rhythms pumping through the air as possible. You will definately tell your friends about the fun you had.
Our song request system is totally automated. After creating a profile at one of our touchscreen KIOSKS, you can submit your song effortlessly. Also, on your smartphone, touchpad, laptop, or other WIFI enabled device, you can logon to our wireless network to submit your request. Search by "Artist" and "Song Title," or search a "History" of the songs previously performed without ever leaving your seat. How great is this? You can place yourself in the rotation while still in the parking lot
Although we do use songbooks at certain events, we absolutely do not use them at bars.
The time and cost invested in maintaining songbooks is "IMPRACTICAL."
